About FVC President
Mr. Francis Gerard S. Cañedo comes from a family of public servants and entrepreneurs. He graduated from University of San Carlos (USC) with a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering and went on to attain a Master’s degree in Entrepreneurship from the Asian Institute of Management (AIM). Mr. Cañedo also completed the Owners and Presidents Management Program from the prestigious Harvard Business School in Boston, Massachusetts, USA.
His education and family backgrounds are a potent combination that enabled him to successfully lead multiple business and nonprofit organization. Among his undertakings are Frásec Ventures Corporation, Paramount Property Ventures Inc., Celestial Meadows Memorial Garden and Parks, Alami Group, Frásec Manta Development Corporation, and FyR Technologies Corporation.
Through his executive management, Frásec Ventures Corporation has established an extensive operational footprint executing complex projects across major cities and logistically challenging remote environments throughout the Philippines.
He successfully drives the company’s multi-sector portfolio, commanding essential operations with major blue-chip clients and conglomerates including the APO Cement Corporation of CEMEX, Filinvest Land Inc., and Taisei Philippine Construction Inc. His tenure as chief executive is defined by an emphasis on operational modernization and an active advocacy for sustainable, “responsible mining” and land transformation.
